I am a Hamilton descendant. Hannah (Hamilton) was the daughter of Thomas Hamilton and his first wife Sarah Westfall my 5th great grandparents. Hannah married Jonathan Colborn the brother of Lydia Colborn who was Thomas Hamilton’s second wife.
Lydia (Colborn) Hamilton’s sister Sarah Colborn married Jonathan Hampton Sr. Their son Jonathan Hampton Jr. married Julia Foster. They divorced and Jonathan died. Julia was Brigham Young’s 34th wife.
Julia Foster Hamilton’s daughter from her first marriage Julie Ann Hampton married Feramorz Little, Brigham Youngest nephew. Feramorz was Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah three consecutive terms.
Julia Foster Hamilton’s son Brigham Young Hampton was the Godson
of Brigham Young.

Hi Dayna, Thank you for sharing your Pomeroy/Morris info.
We have common ancestors in both lines! My Pomeroy me Arlene Tway my mother Maxene Morris daughter of Shella Leota Pomeroy daughter of John Haskell Pomeroy son of Francis Martin. Leota married Joseph Smith Morris son of Hyrum Bowles Morris and Eliza Smith. I grew up in Mesa and three of my great grandmothers Clara Pomeroy, Eliza Morris and a Tway were still living when I was a child. I have trees on Ancestry.com and Family Search and belong to a genealogical society in Chula Vista CA where I am learning to use technology to explore finding records. It was surprising to me that the Family History Library at the Mesa Temple did not have much information about the Pomeroys or Morrises. I did find a manuscript at the Public Library there that has the story of Francis Martin and Irene Ursula Haskell.
